I love teaching because I am a lifelong learner, and working with students continues to challenge me to stretch my musical knowledge and problem-solve in creative ways. My pedagogy is all about collaborating with my students to develop creative approaches to fundamental concepts. Creativity, persistence, and curiosity can make music an obsession, and personally I am thrilled to be obsessed with music. I am a “jack of all trades” musician, which I love because it lets me engage in a variety of projects and learning.

I offer private lessons in the following skills, for all age groups. Lessons can be for any combination of skills on this list! We can explore songwriting through guitar, music production through bass, music theory through voice (my favourite – I know, I’m a nerd), etc.

Before GST, my rates are currently:

• 30 min- $30
• 45 min- $42 (equal to $28/half-hour)
• 60 min- $52 (equal to $26/half-hour)

Bundles:

• 4×30 min- $116 (equal to $29/half-hour)
• 4×45 min- $162 (equal to $27/half-hour)
• 4×60 min- $200 (equal to $25/half-hour)
